Shastina and Daniel tied the knot at Oak Creek Golf Club on a perfect fall evening. And these Oak Creek Golf Club wedding photos are just to die for! Some of you may recognize Shastina as part of Team JDP which is why it was extra special that her day was finally here!
The day started out as the guys were enjoying a few drinks at the bar and opening their gifts (why do guys always have it so easy). Shastina’s mom and bridesmaids helped her get into a gorgeous three-piece Martina Liana dress. One of the most special moments for Shastina was putting on her Grandma’s earrings that her aunt had fixed up to wear on her wedding day. Little details like this will always be remembered and cherished.
The most magical light was spotted under Oak Creek’s peppercorn tree and I knew this would be the perfect spot for their first look. The two love birds exchanged letters back to back and shared the cutest first moment. I think I even witnessed them fist-bump – ha! Since the light was magical and these two got into my advanced posing, we had a lot of fun with their portraits! After challenging them to the spin photo, I knew this was going to be the perfect teaser photo to post after the wedding.
Shastina surprised Daniel by walking down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri (one of Daniel’s favorite songs). His reaction when he first realized what she had done was priceless. They exchanged vows during the most beautiful golden hour under the pergola. Their ceremony included a wine ceremony where they each poured wine from a carafe into a personalized wine glass. Shastina took a sip and passed it off to Daniel where he downed the rest of the wine. He looked to his family and friends with a huge smile on his face and said “someone had to do it!” This had Shastina laughing so hard!
The rest of the evening was absolutely magical. We witnessed a stunning sunset (which I had to steal them for a kissing photo of course) followed by a perfect evening under the stars and string lights. Their dance floor was full the entire night and I could tell we had a lot of country fans in the house. I have never seen so many people line-dancing at a wedding! Shastina and Daniel are huge churro fans and I knew they were so excited about the churro cart they had coming to the wedding. I guess the vendor had a flat tire on the way over, so were a little late getting there. I knew how much this meant to them and I love churros, too, so I promised them I would wait to capture the photo! They were so grateful and the churro was definitely worth it!
