I have known Kaitlyn since the day she was born. Kaitlyn spent the first four years of her life as my neighbor across the street and I spent my days babysitting her, making her mac n cheese (the only thing she would eat) and playing barbies and dollhouse with her.  She eventually moved away with her family and because of Facebook I was able to reconnect with her during her junior year in high school! I knew I was traveling on the east coast with Ryan and was dying to do a session in New York City at Brooklyn Bridge and in Dumbo. I reached out to everyone on Facebook to help me find a couple and low and behold Kaitlyn sent me a message informing me she lived in Brooklyn with her boyfriend. This girl is so smart she is going to NYU for engineering!!! I do feel old knowing this little girl I use to babysit has a steady boyfriend, is going to college at NYU and is of legal drinking age ahhh so exciting though! I made a date to photograph Kaitlyn and her boyfriend Brendan on an afternoon Ryan had planned on skateboarding. Things didn’t really go as planned and we pushed the time of the shoot up and Ryan hung around and snapped some photos of the bridge himself while I photographed these two love birds. I had an amazing time catching up with Kaitlyn and getting to know Brendan. I am hoping I get a call soon informing me of their engagement and wedding hehe. It was great seeing you Kaitlyn I am so proud of you and how much you have grown over the years, I would like to think I had a little bit of an influence on that hehe. XOXO
