Wedding Wednesday | 5 Creative Ways to ask your Bridesmaids | Bridesmaid Gift Ideas

Who will hold your bouquet while you say your vows to start the rest of your lives together? Which girlfriend is going to help you pee while trapped in that gorg dress you picked? And who will help you with that seating chart at 3am when all of a sudden Aunt Sue and Uncle Bob aren’t talking? Your best friends or family are those that will be standing by you on your big day and will put up with you during all the wedding stress. I have to give a shout out to all my amazing girls for all their help and support during my two year (yes I know long) engagement!

There are tons of ways to ask your favorite girls to stand by your side on your big day. I have researched high and low and have included my five favorites ways to ask your girls.

1.) This first idea is what I did since I am known to be Miss. Planner and wanted to make sure my girls were prepared. I gave them each the book The Bridesmaid Guide by Kate Chynoweth, along with a personal handwritten note. Most of my girls knew who beforehand they were going to be in the bridal party except my friend Krystle. Man it was so fun giving it to her while on a fun girls day at Disney (she screamed and flipped people were wondering what was going on!)

2.) Another cute idea for all you wine-o’s out there is to give your bridesmaid in a cute box a bottle of wine or champange with a cute bridesmaid shirt for her to flaunt! Of course you have to thrown in the diamond after all it is a wedding!

3.) Why not send them a cute hanger with “Maid of Honor” or “Bridesmaid” written out. Even better yet if you know they will probably say yes than have it monogrammed with their name! (these are great for photos of their dresses!)

4.) Create a photo collage have a friend or professional photographer (why not me?) take some photos of you holding up a handmade sign or signs asking each girl to be in your wedding then give that to her in a cute keepsake frame she can use after the wedding.

5.) My favorite of all… Why not pop the question just like your man did with a ring? It can be a ring pop sucker or a nice ring with their intials or a symbol they can wear on the big day!
