Kathryn and Lee said “I do” in front of their closest friends and family on a magical day for Arroyo Trabuco Canyon Golf Club wedding photos. The moment my team and I walked into the ceremony and reception location, I knew this was the fall rustic fairy tail they were dreaming of. Every detail was perfect from the florals, vintage frames and past wedding photos of their family members, and petite potted succulents for wedding favors. These are just a few details of the many intricacies they had planned. One of the reasons why I love engagement sessions is to hear about their dream day and all of the planning that goes into making their day come to life. I think she nailed her vision.
While Kathryn was getting ready, reality sunk in when she said out loud, “Mom, I get to marry my mountain man today.” Isn’t she the cutest? It gets even cuter…Lee bought Kathryn the most beautiful Madewell leather tote with her new initials on it with a personalized bible inside. Personally I think Kathryn should have hyphenated her last name to be “Green-Ham.” Match made in Dr. Seuss heaven?
As I was scoping out the venue, we found the most beautiful spot with leaves that were changing color. I know my couples and knew this is exactly what Kathryn would want. We shot their breathtaking First Look here and at one point I heard her say, “This is the fall wedding I dreamed of.” BOOM. Well, she rocked it.
It was such a joy to get to know their charming family from near and far. Both their families are the sweetest, which does not surprise me. Mr. and Mrs. Hamm, it was an absolutely honor to capture part of your legacy. I have every bit of confidence that your love story will be full of adventure and beautiful memories.
