Ryan and I have always wanted to go to New York and as a past history major I also wanted to see Washington DC. Ryan mentioned a trip down the east coast starting in Maine and ending in Washington DC and the best part was he was going to plan the whole thing. From where we stayed to where we ate and what we saw, Ryan did an amazing job putting it all together. The best part about any trip for me is being able to spend quality time with my best friend. I love the memories we make when on trips together and the fun we have. It was so neat being able to experience all things New York together for the first time. Our first subway ride (in NY), the empire state building and a street cart hot dog mmmmm. One of my favorite memories from the trip was when I found out where Taylor Swift lived and we sat on her porch for 45 minutes and Ryan didn’t complain once. He even suggested when we got back to the car to go back and sit outside in the warm car to see if she was coming home. It was so sweet because he knew how much that thought of possibly seeing her meant to me! Since this trip Ryan and I have decided to try to do a trip every summer/fall as my schedule permits somewhere fun and new. Our goal is to visit every state!
